Treatment

For milder cases, a combination of topical treatments and laser therapy can effectively reduce redness and visible blood vessels. Typically, laser treatments require a series of sessions to see results. These are usually spaced about six weeks apart to allow your skin to heal between sessions; you may need up to 6-8 visits. Oral antibiotics or radio frequency ablation may also be recommended in moderate to severe cases.
