Thanks to social media, nowadays it’s common for clients to come to our boutique asking for a specific filler by name “because so and so had it and her lips look so juicy and natural” or “because I read somewhere that you should never inject X filler at X spot,” etc.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a decadently thick, calcium-based filler made up of small spherical particles (called microspheres) suspended in a water-based gel. Once injected, Radiesse promotes your body’s own collagen production to boost elasticity and suppleness.

Ideal for: plumping and elevating the cheeks, rejuvenating the hands, decreasing wrinkles and folds.

Duration: 6 months to 2 years.

Juvederm Voluma

Juvederm Voluma is a hyaluronic acid gel-like filler that attracts and binds to water molecules, providing strength and hydration to the skin. When injected into the mid-face, Voluma beautifully plumps and sculpts the cheekbones for a more contoured aesthetic.

How Do Dermal Fillers Work?

Dermal fillers are half art, half science. The safety of your procedure depends on the experience and qualifications of your injector. But your results rely on them having a superior aesthetic eye to know which fillers to apply and where to inject them to achieve the results you’re looking for without looking overdone.

One of the greatest advantages of fillers is that they require almost no preparation. In general, we ask you to avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before your procedure. If possible, also avoid blood thinners and anti-inflammatory medications for 2 weeks. And if you smoke, plan on stopping at least 10 days before treatment.

The treatment itself is delivered via an ultra-fine needle or cannula, and the injection site is typically numbed with an anesthesia cream to minimize discomfort.

What’s The Recovery Like?

Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area unless instructed by your provider. Also refrain from doing significant movements or intense exercise.

You can expect minor swelling and bruising around the injection sites. Give yourself at least a couple of weeks for all residual inflammation to go down.

How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost In Miami?

Dermal fillers are priced by syringe, and the cost of each unit varies based on the brand, injection site, and the experience of the injector. Most fillers cost between $500 and $1,000 per syringe.
